- Hi,
- I first got the new 33.6 Sportstervi and thought I was ok, had the newest chips
- etc. Anyway, I had orignally noticed a slight freezing that gets
- worse as I stay connected. Now I am reading that this is firmware
- problem and not the fact that I have only 4mb of RAM. I also
- noticed this problem in the dos based comm packages I have so I know
- it is not a windows ram problem.
-
- Is this freezing really due to a firmware problem? Is USR ever going
- to be able to fix it?
-
- Should I return the modem while I still can> WHICH MODEM should I get
- to replace it? Soiund like almost all modems suck.
-
- thanks
